Since this thread was started a lot of these great men have died, and sadly I've missed out a lot of being able to contact them and receive signed photos like you guys, which Veterans are still happy to receive letters and send signed photos? I'm looking to send Von Ribbentrop a letter, so I know of him. any help highly appreciated

Going to post a few of my photos of Stalingrad RKT's they include those awarded the RK at Stalingrad or those who fought at Stalingrad and were awarded it before or after the Battle.
Here is the first Helmut Lutze Zugführer 1./KradSchtzBtl 64 , 14 Panzer Division ,this award was for actions during the advance of 48 Panzer Korps from the Kalmyk Steppe south of the City

The firast veteran i met on my first visit to Stalingrad ,he became a great friend and mentor Helmut Croenenbroeck 9 Staffel , III Gruppe , Jagdgeschwader Udet , he was part of the Staffel ground crew ofthe Platzschutzstaffel at Pitomnik.
