Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
I'm curious when was the last one published? Plus given how the war was going. It must have been hard to keep up the propaganda in the later 1945 editions. magazines. I'd love a flick through that collection.
The actual date is uncertain, but the last known number was Number 6 1945 (april maybe). As far as records confirm there is only 1 copy of that.
The last number to be sold to the public was Number 5/1945.
Number 5 1945
1941 Numbers
17 x magazines (£70) plus postage
