Along with collecting spanges I have also started collecting the award documents.

14th Panzer Division EKII spange document and is signed by General der Panzertruppen Friedrich Kühn who was award the Knights Cross in July 1940.

Feldlazarett 150 EKII spange document set which includes the write-up and several other documents. The write-up reads (partial):
It was noted that during a bombing attack which killed a number of troops several were severely wounded and were in exposed positions. Uffz. Knappe retrieved them and sheltered and treated them without being intimidated by further bombing and strafing. He distinguished himself on two other occasions.
