Hi Reibert, I'm having trouble registering on the website as it's not in English. Any chance you could 'cut & paste' the info onto this thread? Cheers, Richard.

Hi Ade, I'm not worried about it. I've checked it with a blacklight & it's fine. Like you said probably a house clearance/job lot, Cheers, Richard.

Hi Reibert, managed to register. My head hurts I'm the typical Englishman who doesn't speak anything but English
Yeah, you're right it's an identical card. Not the same one, a duplicate, as the marks & creases on the cards are different,

    Cheers, Richard.

    Yes, I know.

I actually meant "identical", not "the same"

It´s my poor English, Sorry !

In this thread an user assumed, it could be the insignia of the 22. SS-Freiwilligen Kavallerie-Division "Maria Theresia", (the bluebottle).

But as this time the soldier was killed, none parts of this Division stood near Warsaw.

Hi Reibert, Don't worry I knew what you meant. Your English is excellent.
I can see where the other user was coming from thinking it was the 22. SS-Freiwilligen Kavallerie-Division "Maria Theresia". I thought the same before I had it in my hands; but on close inspection it's been defaced so I guess we'll never know one way or the other, Cheers, Richard.

Death cards were sent out by the family to family, friends , neighbours , former work collegues etc , so it won't be uncommon to find more than one to the same guy.
