Hi,
Hope some one has an idea about what Militics means? military post?
I only know this was sent from an SS mountain unit in Finland, after they turned on the Germans, October 1944.
Thanks,
Neil.

Hi,
This letter falls under the "Lapland War"? and was this feldpost sent to an army unit too?
Neil.
Happy new year to you all!!!
Here is a scan map of Batschka, was possibly once Hungarian?
Might not have been Balschka?

Thanks.
Would be very interesting to solve, for me it's 10 years already, the MILITICS ridle...
Neil.
Same thing happened to me Neil. I had a train ticket for an SS officer that had been in my collection for ten years and I didn't know much about it. I put it on this forum and within 12 hours, I had the guys name, where he served, that he survived the war, and was buried in England compliments of Paul E. I must add. I love this forum. So much information to learn and so little time. Jay
Absolutely right! the people here are amazing!
Neil.
