OK go easy on me - I don't collect TeNo items - but what is the attraction of them?
Is it their rarity? the police thing or the connection to the SS? ( in that the organization apparently came under HH's responsibility ) or what?
I mean the Luftschutz was also a civil defense group and they attract far less oohing and aahing? Is it because of the apparent regalia ( in that they were established early on so got all the trappings of gilt and braid?
As I said, don't hammer me - I'm not dissing the collectors, I would just like to know what is the TeNo draw-card...
Cheers, Dan

Good question Dan.
The (attraction) for TeNo items for me is the engineering feats.
And I like the Logo...

I agree with Eric. I know they are a fairly unpopular organization but they had some very nice looking uniforms , daggers and insignia. This is my personal reason for interest. This stamp has also sparked added interest. They were great engineers as they built nice pontoon bridges , this is displayed in the images posted on page one.

Great side-by-side comparison, Eric, thanks!

This is an early reproduction, definitely not a period piece unfortunately. The earlier fakes were made with similar materials to the period ones, unlike the later ones.
