Hi,
Is there a way to find out what paper he was a correspondent for?
Georg Ritter was sent (?) to Sweden 1939-1940...
Thanks,
Neil

I see no indication that he was a WAR Correspondent, however I do see an entry indicating that he was employed by the Industrial Chamber of Commerce, based in Nurnberg...Looking at the various stamps, I gather that he was employed as a Commerce/Trade Official...
cheers, Glenn
Hi Glenn,
I thought the Industrial Chamber of Commerce was paying some fee for the trip?
Neil
The Industrial Chamber of Commerce issued a "Priority Dispatch" to accelerate official approval for the trip...There are trips to Italy and Switzerland listed as well...I am quite sure Herr Ritter was employed in a Trade/Commerce capacity...
Glenn
Then why is his work indicated as correspondent? strange, no?
Trade Correspondence, reporting on foreign commerce, import/export agreements etc...A businessman.
cheers, Glenn
I see. Though first time for me...
Thanks Glenn
