The longer text is a circular to various Reichsbahn agencies operating under the Allied military government, detailing what categories of railway personnel were no longer permitted to be employed.
Payment of wages to these persons was to be cancelled pending final regulations. The same applied to personnel who had not yet reported for duty and taken up work. The names and relevant details of the persons from both categories were to be submitted by 12 May 1945.

    To be sacked were:

    1. Party members who had joined the NSDAP prior to 1933
    2. SS members regardless of their rank in the organization (excluding Waffen-SS personnel)
    3. SD members
    4. Denunciators
    5. Party members in leading positions (Ortsgruppenleiter or higher), including SA members ranked Sturmführer or higher
    6. Activists (party propagandists, those who had used their position to coerce others to join the party, NSBO- and ANRB members)
    7. SA members who had joined the SA prior to 1933
    8. Those who had been given special preferential treatment/benefits as "Old fighters"
    9. Retired officials were to be treated as active ones.

The shorter document was sent to one Reichsbahn-Inspektor Brahms. It states that an attached personnel questionnaire was to be filled out and returned together with a CV and photograph. To be stated at the end of the CV's text were: Whether Brahms had ever belonged to a Freemasons' lodge, whether he was active in the NSDAP (SA, SS or as an official of the political organization) and the number and age of his children.
