morning ,he is an ss ruiter,a war correspondent i believe.and its a genuine feldpost, verty nice too, regards george
Unfortunately there is nothing to identify a unit as i cannot see any Feldpost nummer anywhere and the stamp doesn't reveal the exact unit.
One of our German speaking members may be able to decipher the writing etc. The address on the rear looks like SS MG .. Schwadron , Kielce /Radom in Poland then the name of the Kaserne ( Barracks )
SS Ruiter George , what exactly does that mean i've never heard of it ?? As far as i am aware war correspondant is Kriegsberichter !!
With the mention of Schwadron which is a Kavallerie unit i believe the rank is SS Reiter .
cheers
Paul

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
