Wehrpass 16 years old

I have just got this Wehrpass, not very rare, but it is the first time I get one from just a boy, one of "Hitlers many Childern"
He is born in 1929 and is enlisted on the 29 Mrz. 1945 in Rendsburg

This time I hope my pics doesnt rotate when I uploade them

Wehrpass is a late war type & there doesn't seem to be any obvious red flags. At least his service time was short. Stewy

Tragic but interesting! I wonder how he ended up the war?

Going on his enlisting date I doubt he notice the difference from being a kid to being in service. Stewy

I think being in at the end and on the losing side wouldn't have been fun, especially not in the east. My father-in-law served about 2 months on the front before his capture in April 45, according to his diary he was in constant action and wounded twice. If that boy got to the front his experience of war might have been similar. Was it a film called Die Bruecke where children had to defend a bridge right at the very end of the war?

Yes you are correct, the film was called Die Brucke, and is based on a true story, I have just read a book about "Hitlers Childern", and one of the tellers in the book was at that site. I have enclosed a pic about the book, I know it also exist in German, I dont know if it is in English
