Not so fast, please: It is still possible.

Awards entries were made on page 23 (which is shown above and has the Wound Badge entry) as well as on page 38 (which is not shown here). So, the Krimschild entry may well be on page 38. (In fact the VWA entry also refers to page 38 ("s. [= siehe] Seite 38" = "see page 38").

In fact, the entries on page 33 show that this man did indeed take part in the fighting for the Crimea.
