What do you do on a rainy day? Well I got the old newspapers out for a read. Trying to get them all in order and filed away nicely. I have quite a few more than I thought but still a long way off having the full set I was after of a copy of each one printed during the German Occupation of Guernsey.

Your right it never rains here, we are the hottest place in the uk, but sometimes we need to make the excuse its raining just to read the papers.

I thought the Scilly isles were warmer the the channel isles. Anyway, I'm coming out to Jersey this summer. For a look at the history, not to lay on the bloody beach! Perhaps we can meet up & you can point me at the good bits (micro breweries included, my mrs runs a pub). Stewy
