Very nice portrait (first photo)! He seems to be wearing a 1938 SA Gruppe Hochland Wettkämpfe badge.
Thanks for the info on the badge. He was later transferred to the Waffen-SS and then was put as an officer into the 21 ss skanderbeg divison. I got his death note too.
