Australian made camo jacket

Article about: I saw this jacket advertised. Australian made but not a type I am familiar with. Melbourne made, does Rene know anything about this one?

Yakka NZ has also made clothing for the NZ Army. This jacket may well be aimed at the hunting/ civilian market. I'll send the company an email and see if they have any information on it. Hopefully might get a response.

I'm still in the thought of being trials but...?, I once owned a pair of Auscam trousers as a kid back in (69 patt) '84 bought from Mitchell's in the day (pair stolen from me!) Have a pair of woodlands trousers I still have somewhere from the same period! haven't dragged them out for big years so hopefully there are tags on em? Ill look for them on the weekend, for now I'm not in the mood for an avalanche.

Looks like an old camo style hunting jacket .
Seen similar worn by Deer Hunters & Duck Shooters.
Ive very much doubt it has any military significance at all.
In fact I would say none .
These days you can buy any type of camo you can think of , very specialised and high tech for specific species/area hunting.
