1967 beret!
I'm not an expert at all on these. I do like the 1967 beret with the
1st group flash on it. I'm not sure about the one with the colonel eagle on it.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
The officer beret appears more to be a locally made item and not of the quality of the second cap or indeed, something US manufactured. The South Vietnam flag embroidery is not of the quality seen on any I have experienced with providence . These caps have been constructed locally in Vietnam for the souvenir/tourist market during and since the Vietnam war. Considering the strange damaged label, the lack of Defense Supply Agency markings and poor embroidery; it would be very difficult to originate this piece.
The first is not theater made, the Flash is indeed foreign made. The beret itself is probably one of the pre US production ones. Not totally sure where but there were multiple countries that the early SF guys got berets from. I have no issues with the first one.
