Article about: Anyone got one of these? A spring loaded removable bipod that clipped onto the end of the barrel of an M-16 rifle, presumably to make a more stable platform on automatic fire. I once had one

    Anyone got one of these? A spring loaded removable bipod that clipped onto the end of the barrel of an M-16 rifle, presumably to make a more stable platform on automatic fire. I once had one when I collected such stuff, it was marker marked "Colt" and the web pouch dated 1969.

    But were they ever used in Vietnam?
