I would say it is very hard to date these or even decide which country they might be from?

Is there any makers marks on them?

    Cheers, Ade.

Thanks. This is one of those items that is hard to say for sure about.

Certainly not an issue item, but something which a soldier might buy privately or make himself.

    Cheers, Ade.

These could come from anywhere....The US was a big maker of these in the 30's. Might actually come from North America. I somehow don't get that TR vibe with this type of stuff.
Hate to be on the receiving end! Cool nonetheless - very cool! Brass or steel?

    Hi!
I second that it can be very difficult to trace knuckedusters/brass knuckles when there is no markings or specific signs of identification.
I have three items myself obtained over several years.
Top right item belonged to my grandfather(rest his soul) and my guess is that atleast one or two of my knuckledusters were manufactured locally(Sweden).

    Hi guys,

These belonged to my Great Grandfather who fought in the First World War with the Norfolk Regiment from 1914 to 1918 when he was discharged due to gas poisoning......when the Second World War came about they were passed to my Great Uncle who was a Royal Marine Commando and he fought in Burma.....they have a lot of history....
