    Actually these knives are called "puukko" in Finnland. It is very old knife type, at least from the beginning of the 19-th century and maybeeven much older. Even today puukkos are very popular and almost every man in Finland has one. You can still get WWII originals sometimes from ebay.de for pretty reasonable price (50 euro or so) brought back by German vets.
