SS-walking stick

Article about: Just how can one be sure that carved wood is made during the war ? Dangerous field - it can be genuine or made a week ago. How can you tell when everybody can carve wood easily with a pocket

    Going to buy this no matter what. Found in a swamp near the support railwaytrack to Kiestinki, Finnish Lappland were "Nord" fought the Soviets. Will get more pics soon. The knob is in the form of a fist and only has some rot in it .How common are these?

    German walking sticks are quite common there are a couple of threads here about them.

    Although they were used all over the Eastern Front they are generally known as Wolchow Stocks as they were especially popular in the Army Group North area, can you post pictures of the whole stick ??
