1939 WW2 German VM-40 gas mask set

The mask is dated 1939 and the filter is dated 1938, and both are in excellent condition for being 75/76 years old. There are no cracks, tears, or rust. (the mask has never been used as seen by the paper insert surrounding the inhale valve that would have been removed before use)

The flapper valve is still present and in good order, whereas they are missing in many examples, and the rubber is still soft and pliable. They are both marked with all of the expected important stamps.*

how hard is it to find a 1939 WW2 German VM-40 gas mask set?
Are they rare or common?
I have a chance to buy one still in its box.

Comes with original manual too.

I don't want to pay too much.
Does anyone know what is a fair price to pay for this would be?

It's a nice mask, but don't pay that amount for it....

Sometimes they can be bought for 10 - 15 Euro.... there are lots of them around !

These can be found on German Ebay.de all day long...I would never spend more than $45 on the boxed ones, as they are very common/easily obtained/cheap...And very hard to resell (for any profit) later as a result...
