Update:

Ok guys - forget the barrel from post #24 - it turned out to be a scam - I received the barrel, AFTER the seller messed with it (of course on his selling pics, he had the unmessed barrel, before he f***it up.) It is quite sad really, destroying a good 1943 item...
Here are the pics - the selling pic and next to it the condition after I opened:

As you can see, he removed the original opening and VERY crudely replaced it with a homemade pipe, terrible welding, missing the 2 protecting rings, etc.
As you could've guessed I was pissed off, but of course the seller went MIA - so I sold this thing (I was very lucky) the same day I got it.

...and now to the happy end part...

Just a couple of days ago, I saw this 1945 dated one, for 48 EU (the same price as the messed one). Of course I asked for more pics (I don't trust anyone anymore) and it seems in good condition with maybe a more rare date, being 1945 was a short year for the III. Reich.
In fact, the seller will deliver it for me by car this weekend, so no shipping fee (he needs cash in hand, not a bank transfer).

last update:

just cleaned the barrel, and removed some minor rust from the 2 rings...looks good - now it's here in my living-room in the corner

They also came marked Luftwaffe. That or one of the W-SS ones is what I'd like to have!

I have talked with the owner (SS) one he wanted very big money. But he wont even try to move it.
