Article about: i have a german ammo can marked sigma 1937 warszawa 1 sa, does anyone have any info on it? Is it for anti tank rounds?

    It looks like a standard MG ammo tin.

    I like the MG can and the Jap flag in the back all is good i see a german helmet in their as well any pics? Sorry i look at all details that just me i do like the can though. ERIC.

    Hello,
    It looks like a polish ammunition can to me.
    And the markings : "sigma 1937 warszawa 1 sa" leaves no doubt...
    Many of them were reissued to the german army after the polish campaign of September 1939 as german and polish cans almost look the same.
