Dear Forum,

I lately bought a binoculars with markings on it

COMPASS;- ont he left hand side of the handle grip and ASTRONAR - on the right hand side of the handle grip
"Germany" 6x30
featherweight coated.

I wish to identify this binoculars and it's use. The model seems WW2.

They look like German issue WW2,feild glasses.....having "Germany" on them would date them to pre 1945

Hello,
This is a civilian pair of 6 x 30 binos. Some were used on the fields.
Military type bears "Dienstglas" engraved on the right bino...

Most helpful. I managed to obtain this piece of binos for a cheap price and it's part of my first collection as I started collecting just a few months ago.
