Binoculars with bakelite case

Article about: Hi, does anyone know if this is marked as a period piece? Have no knowledge of these items. Have just seen the thread pertaining to bakelite markers list so will ask seller if he can forward

    That's a DIN logo (Deutsche Industrie Norm) or Germany Industry Standard.
    I've never been able to find a wartime DIN listing.

    Is there any truth in the assumption that the '20' in two squares next to the serial number denotes this piece as being a refurbished Bulgarian army postwar re-issue? Having trouble trying to locate info on this. Thanks.
