Bread Bag Strap - Polizei

Hi,

Just got that bread bag strap and it looks period to me and I assume it is polizei due to the colour.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Why it is polizei?

Police is a different color imho, but this looks like a nice early bread bag strap (alu hardware and greenish leather)

I don't know if you are familiar with photography , but maybe you can change the white balance so that the color is more accurate (and of course then it still is difficult because it also depends on the type of screen you are using )

Maybe if you have another strap you can picture them side by side to see the difference

I think the 4th from the top left is a police bread bag (grey-green in color) but this picture also shows how many variations of green / field grey / tan existed

Thanks for the info and imho it matches the 4th bag from the left in colour.
Here is a better photo. The strap in question has a faint maker stamp and the date looks to be 1938.

And looks like you are correct the grey-green appears to be police issue
