    hello i have had this bread bag for a while now.
    I use it when i go out hunting and put my ammo and water bottle in..
    but i thought i would give it a closer look.
    and i can not work out if its ww2 German..
    the only thing i can make a little bit out is the ink stamp on the inside sewn on a tab, can only make out these letters but may not be right , ###whiner&co. thank you mark.

    Yes, early German WW2 army issue breadbag but it has had its straps cut off - so that hurts the collector value.
    Possibly done post war to be used as a satchel with a strap ( no need to fit to a belt anymore )

    Hello,
    Dan is right, it's a WWII saboted german breadbag but as it has been made of green cloth, it's not a very early one.
    Green cloth + aluminium fittings = 1940 production IMO
