    THX Guys, no - I didn't test it yet, hopefully next week I'll have more time for that and to take better photos...
    I did check all markings, all parts are 1940 marked, so that's good news...not a "put-together" piece.
    I'm actually looking into getting a second one, which is even in better condition (1944 made) - for 55 EU fix price, but can't tell if the battery is in its' slot or not...just asked the seller.
    Keeping my fingers crossed...

    hey guys - is this phone strap WW2 or postwar? looks old...no markings, the metal parts are painted olive.

    I have an identical strap which is definitely post-war. It was very cheap and is OK for display purposes until I ever find something better......
