    Guys,

    Something unusual?

I had to take it, as it is, I believe as it has been left, except the previous owner removed the spark plug and binned it.

He put a bit of oil in the cylinder head and it turns over fine.

I need a new spark plug and we will see if there is any output?

    Jock.

Hi Jock, nice find. These little gennies make good money. I have seen them sell for around £250 at Beltring. Hope you get it going.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Guys,

    Thanks for input.

I can not believe how well made this whole thing is, it has an integral crank handel, storage for oil can and tools sits on springs to counter vibration and is very compact.

It is roughly half the size of a British 500 watt Gene that was and still is a piece of rubbish and we were using them until very recently, may even be some still out there.

The germans had this 67 years ago?

    Smart procurement my bottom!

Well, how many times have you heard it, "German engineering at it's best". I don't think the US has made a decent generator yet. Everybody uses Hondas here. That thing is incredible!

    Jay,

You know it! I think it can provide AC or DC output. How many years ahead of its time?
