Look's original to me, but there were a lot of repro's made of this one in the netherlands postwar.
A buddy of mine found one in germany in relic state(the leather part) and I found the same E-tool in relic state a few months ago.
there are pictures of them in the Battlefield archeology section( unknown leather item and Battlefield relics from the bulge).
