A recent project of mine has been this field radio microphone. Bought locally with the plug missing, it has sat in a box for a while until I could find a serviceable two prong plug – which I did on ebay.de a few months ago. A careful dismantle, clean up and a couple of solder repairs and this unit is back together again ( and would be workable if I had a radio to test it on )

With the ‘FIEND HORT MIT’ warning emblazoned across the top it is an iconic piece of TR kit and a nice addition to the collection.

Shhh … the enemy listens in!!!

The plate is off a Zünderbatteriekasten, it provided the electricity to bomb detonators before they where released from an aeroplane.
