A Few More Items
Hey guys, thought I would a share a few more items that I have required this week.As per always any help with the history/numbers would be much appreciated.
Markings on the items are as follows.
Bayonet- WKC 6923 -39,7073
scabbard- Euf Horster 6923, 1939,2219
Mask -RlI-39187 1944 on the eye
Container-(as per photo)
Canteen cup- MN 43
Canteen clip-GMA 43
Cant find any other markings any where else
Mess tin lid-DHW 41
Mess tin body- AW 41
Strap looks repro/post war? has 1953 on it

All good items as you probably know. The canteen is a mid to late war enameled version. It has a curious mix of parts and I'm thinking the leather strap was replaced at one time . Is the canteen cap bakelite or enameled? I like the Dunkelgelb cup. NH

Dan, OK, so I think the canteen is from parts. Still - looks good. The cover is in great shape. NH
Nice items canteen and s84/98 bayonet, messkit mask and can is a version used by the Luftschutz can is marked RL1 38-3 (Maker) for Reich Luftshutz air raid protection. timothy
