Top looking field phone indeed,can't beat this one on condition.............
Superb condition. In particular, the cord for the handset is very good. Normally, these are frayed, broken or replaced. Have you tried inserting a 1.5 volt battery to test it? Get an adapter with two wires and wire a D size into the battery terminals. Press the Sprechtaste (talk button) and see if you can hear yourself. If so, you have a functional phone. Most likely the base unit will be in good shape - they hardly ever fail. Guarantee - you will be looking for phone 2 very soon! NH
