Angolia's book is the main text imo but is hard to find these days..........untill J.Philip's book hits the shelves.

Deutsche SOLDATEN: Uniforms, Equipment & Personal items of the German Soldier 1939-45, by Agustin Saiz published by Casemate 2008 covers quite a few items, as its title suggests.

Yes forgot about Soldaten by Saiz I have it good color photo's on gear good gas mask section. Cyrus Lee Soldat is inexpensive books but mostly black white no color closeups. Good luck with search the book comming out sounds like a good one by Phillip about time some one done a good field gear book looking forward to that one. timothy
