Yes indeed, and I believe the green line on the top indicates army issue.
It carries the original TR German code plate. Postwar examples might be in different languages or NATO. You can check to see if it works by wiring a D size battery into the terminals and then checking the handset. NH
Nope. The "greenstripe" version came in 1939, the green means that it has the lower impedance microphone that meant that the phone needed a new microphone transformer.
Its the most common version, the no stripe versions are rare since they were all converted for the newer microphone. Also there is a yellow stripe, that is for kriegsmarine (added 4 pin socket for noisy enviroments (headgear) to keep the hands free)
