Here is an M31 Zelt that I was lucky enough to acquire yesterday.

If anyone can tell me a little more about it (early/late war etc.) that would be great!

I've been looking for one local to me for some time so jumped on the opportunity.

    Hope you like it!

Some of the pictures make the greens look too bright (almost like a lime green). This image is a more accurate representation.

    Thumbs up

Congratulations - there are some real experts on this Forum who I'm sure will fill in some details of your Zeltbahn later.

One word of warning - these things can be quite addictive !

    Hello,
What you bought is a standard Zeltbahn as produced before 1943.
I cant determine if the metal fittings are aluminium or zinc.....(looks like zinc on the last photo...)

If eyelets and buttons are aluminium, then it's a Zeltbahn as produced between 1931 and 1941.
If eyelets and buttons are made of zinc, then it was produced between 1941 and 1943.
    Thanks

Addictive alright this one seems to be an earlier type with the alum buttons and the double toggle grommets, nice colour to the summer/winter sides

Thanks so much for the comments and compliments guys - the eyelets and buttons are aluminum so '31-'41 manufacture.
    That's great to know!
