    Its a Bundeswehr GM54 Gas Mask with post 1957 Cannister,think thats correct as I own one with the earlier type cannisters..........

    German BW GM54, Filter probably an FE55

    Notice the rubber closure ring in the lid ?? These are taken from these cans, and sold as german ww2 on ebay
