Gas mask

Article about: Hi There!! I got lucky on E Bay and I got this gas mask with matching numbers, I always wanted one but I could never get one for a decent price.

    Thanks for the info every day I learn something new that makes this hobby more interesting. Carrying strap defenetly post war the guy send it to me separetly as an extra bonus..Unfortunately this seller was pulled out of Ebay, he was one of the best sellers of militaria.I believe he got in trouble for selling original nazi newspapers..

    Hello,
    The gasmask shown in this thread is a GM30 made of rubberized cloth (first photo below with a FE42 filter)
    The GM38 is made of green or black rubber (second photo below with a FE41 filter)

    Why do I always miss these threads? Its a great example though, even better that you've managed to find out information about where it came from and who it originally belonged to
