Gas Mask Canister Markings

Hello, Equipment Gurus. I have limited knowledge in gas mask canisters...OK, NO knowledge. I am awaiting further pics on a canister that is local to me. For now I have one pic of the year and a stamping under the year. I am not familiar with the stamping. Is it a pre-war stamping, or a post war re-issued stamping, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will upload more pics when I receive them. Thanks!

Shows Bundeswehradler equipment marking for reuse IMO.

Actually this is the Pre war style of marking. The WaA did not continue into the Federal era. This site will help :

Waffenamt Reichwaffenamt 1890-1945 Kaiserliche Marine and Reichsmarine and Kriegsmarine Consists of a Stylized German Eagle or Adler, the Swastika and a Capital M for Marine or Navy, Wehrmacht German Military Stamps, Heer for Army, Luftwaffe for Air

Agree with Ade, a pre war stamp. Seen it on other items in the past. How much is the seller asking for it?

$40 USD but it's the canister only, no mask. Also has some surface rust. Hoping for better pics today.

That's a Reichswehr WaA stamp. Those were used until circa 1937 for Gasmasken.

100% Reichswehr and original item. I have not ever seen that someone tries to fake a Reichswehr stamp:-). As for the price - $40 is not too much.
