Agree with Ade, a pre war stamp. Seen it on other items in the past. How much is the seller asking for it?

$40 USD but it's the canister only, no mask. Also has some surface rust. Hoping for better pics today.

That's a Reichswehr WaA stamp. Those were used until circa 1937 for Gasmasken.

100% Reichswehr and original item. I have not ever seen that someone tries to fake a Reichswehr stamp:-). As for the price - $40 is not too much.
