German binoculars (dow) serial: 324441

Hi Guys - did I do ok?

I had no time to show&tell here (like I usually do) - so I hope this was an ok deal:

6 x 30 binoculars, makers code: "dow" (Opticotechna GmbH, Prerau or Optitechna, Brerau, Czech), serial # 324441, "Dienstglas" marking is NOT removed.

Price was 70 EU.

So my questions: is it wartime made? If yes, can we tell the production date from the serial number?

My first binoculars - I "almost" got one a few months ago, see thread here: but since that one had no eye-cups and the "Dienstglas" marking was removed post-war, I ended up not getting that one.

also comes with a small "story" - the seller got this piece from old man who traded 1 kg of loaf a bread with a hungry German soldier fleeing from the the red army...

The item arrived a few days ago - now, I'm trying to get a new original neck-strap for it...
