    I'm not sure, didn't those boots were made the same up to 1950 I believe, tell me if I'm wrong..

    Hello,
    From these two photos, it looks like they are private purchased boots not meant for field use as they've got a hard shaft. Only soft shaft were allowed at the front (of course on period photos you can see both worn). More photos would be useful for more accurate comments, especially from the sole, heel, iron etc...

    I recived the boots today, what do you guys think?
    They seem a little small though, maybe 42,41,40 ?

    I'm not even sure if they are period anymore

    I notice in image eight there is an ink stamp in your boots right next to the pull straps the stamp may have some key information as to when these Knobelbecher boots were manufactured .

    As JP said: private purchase Officers boots. I think they are wartime.
