    Default German bunker phone!!!

    Hello all!

As i have mentioned before i'm working at a Telekommunications Museum here in Greece!
My current task is to write codes on every exhibit of the museum so i can touch and examine every single item of the museum!
Today was the day of the Military phones! These are big and massive items so they demanded a day on their own!
I found that phone that looks like a bunker phone to me ( the museum says it is a coal-mine's phone but i disagree)...
It was made by Siemens on 1940 and as far as i can see there are two eagles stamped on different locations...
As you can imagine i was delighted to find such an item in a Technological Museum! I spent a couple of hours just searching, cleaning and looking at it!

Here are the pictures for you guys!!

(that thing was extra super hyper heavy)

This is a tough one to track down. A good source is wasser.de/telefon. They have a lot of info about German phones. I don't have info on this type but it appears to be one of a series identified as Fg. NH

Nice phone. You are likely the first to see the
inside since it was made. The internal bits
    are in mint condition.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

Very nice phone indeed!! But i would prefer to see it in my war room that the apotheque of the museum without it having the proper publicity!!

I should go to hell for saying that but i catch a fever everytime i see a ww2 item away from it's ww2 family...
I was amazed from it's internal condition too!!!
