Can't remember the maker but they did produce spaten during WW2 and post war for the BW.
I don't have the item yet, in a few days. It's not from a military dealer, flea market pick-up - and was very inexpensive (even in Easter-European standards).
'Will wait for more opinions of course, and will take better pics when it arrives.

this entrenching tool was manufactured by Ideal-Spaten (company still exists) in postwar times.
They were sold as camping and car equipment on the civil market.
This smaler design already existed for youth organizations in wartime and i belive the same tooling was used here.
Main indicator for dating is the red colour (respectively blue colour from manufacturer Enders).

I have a similar (also smaller) model which is made like the M1874 entrenching tool, being riveted instead of spot welded, that one also has "IDEAL" below the man holding the shovel.
