German flaregun - ayf 41.

I have added a "new" german flaregun to my Collection.
This one is very close to mint condition - fired very few rounds!

Price was low!

Yes, I think you are right.
...but, I got this flaregun very cheap - 235USD.

235USD is not it's real value in my opinion.

btw, a lot of these show up, and the prices are somewhat higher here in Holland (sold by dealers, so I don't think that represents the right prices....)

I think these are 250 - 300 worth (depending on condition......)

Do you also have the holsters for it ? these are more difficult to get , although a lot of these showed up in scandinavia the last years......

I don't know the price level for german m34 flareguns in Holland, but I do not think it would be hard to sell this one in Denmark for 335 euro.

In Denmark you need to have an collectors-permit, if you want to collect flareguns - which I have.
...and all flareguns have to be registered at the police.
It is illegal to possess a non registered flaregun.

This one was in fact not registered, when I first heard about it, but I talked to the police and we found a solution so that it could be registered.
...this has been an issue in buying this flaregun, and of course affected the price.
It comes from the son of an resistance leader.
His father "got" the flaregun along with a ammo box and a entrenching Tool, from a german military camp i Denmark.
You see that often, that old resistance men and their Family forget to register weapons after the war.

There was no holster to this flaregun.

...this rig is more expensive - have been offered 860 euros for this one.
