Thankyou Lebus, I see that even with uniformity in the rubberized ends and rivets there is a variation in webbing material!
Fascinating for some of us, I'm sure!

Thanks, Dan. I appreciate you starting this. I think the gas mask & canister is an icon of the Landser, and would like to learn more about them.
My thoughts entirely ! I'm also a fan of MP44.nl but there is to me considerable confusion over German gasmasks and I am keen to learn more......

my contribution with this luftwaffe gasmask can with eagle stamp
not luftwaffe, but luftschutz... if you look carefully, you se the letters L. and S. have been removed
