Great item for display - notice that they could be used on almost any voltage i.e. 110/220

The missing tube featured an unusual metal Cap on it, and is, unfortunately, quite difficult to locate today. They Did make an even larger radio set in the same Volksempfänger line called the VE-301 dyn. It was targeted to the somewhat more affluent German families. It featured a 5 tube chassis and had Two eagles and swastikas on the cabinet face! Unfortunately, many of them were defaced after the war by having their eagles removed to "DeNazify" them...

Would get it tested if you are going to plug it in as these can catch fire quite easly
Thanks - the missing tube can be often found on eBay.de along with the post-war replacement.
I have no intention to plug or repair it at the moment.
