    Hi guys, picked up this pouch for $15 at the flea market today, don't think the guy noticed the light markings on it made by a GI. The top part on the backside says "Lehn" (which may have been the German soldier), below that has the 6th Armored division logo(!) and "50th III B" below. The inner stampings are unfortunately illegible, but look German and period to me. Does anyone know what these types of pouches were used for? I know that I've seen something similar before, but my reference book doesn't have these in it.

    Hmm interesting, it's definitely old and european, and the scratchings(if they can be trusted) place it during WW2. I wonder what it is?
