Amazing find! But deadly, imagine if some children had found them...I expect they were still fully functioning even after all this time.

For sure they would work. I have deactivated a few 24's i dug up. The charge what looks to be granulated Composition B looked as good as new. The inside of the steel case is lined with paraffin paper or something like it.

At least when the ignition system was deactivated, delay as described was work 4 1/5 sec. Unfortunatly my friend forgot to make an video
