    Hello,
This set is quite decent, congrats for this purchase...
GM30 with FE41 filter and M38 reinforced canister. Carrying straps are good (not postwar).
Matching 425 numbers are also great.
only small flaw, the scratches on the extra lenses lid...but not big deal after all...
As for the price, as long as you're happy with the item, you paid what you paid and WE buy historical items, not prices...
    Thanks

IMHO I think you did good. It has straps and the bag. I find it hard to find the straps!

Thanks! It has the little packets too. I think they are anti fog lenses.

To be honest, I have my doubts about the straps.... IMO they are post war BW

Also the buttons of the gas cape pouch puzzle me.... as they are ORIGINAL PRYM in stead of PRYM.... ORIGINAL PRYM buttons are related to post war items but the pouch looks ok as far as I can see (except for the buttons that is)

Indeed too bad about the label which was scratched off, and the cleaning cloth and spring are missing

All in all it looks like you overpaid a little, but then again, the canister and mask are matching, which makes it somewhat more valuable....

    Just my .02 cents

    Hello,
I asked for Tom's help concerning the straps as after i said they were good, i had a huge doubt that invaded me...I first thought they were BW but also thought that they were not as thick as usual for BW straps....that led me to a misjudgement, sorry....
    Thanks

Nice set the gas cape bag might be one of the Atf (At the Front) reanactor's site he had a bunch of original bags here while back that had rusted snaps on them and it states he replaced them with new snaps that might explain the snaps. timothy

I'm rather interested... What determines the number that troops (apparently) field apply to the side of the canister and the filter? On this one it's '425'
