German Medic Canteen?
Hi guys,
I'm new on this forum, and I need some help about my new water bottle.
I've bought this couple of days ago, and I worry about the strap, and a whole canteen is not original. The strap looks like a repro.There are some stamps in the cover, and on the strap.
I would be glad if anyone help for me.

Just an observation but the brass on the back of the straps doesn't look very tarnished at all for an item that is supposed to be 75 years old?
Welcome to the Forum, Friend...An Original Medic's Canteen w/cup and harness...I see nothing fake with your 1940-dated example...well done!
Here is my Late-War Example...You can see how they saved on material by getting rid of the elaborate harness...

Yes, the buttons very shiny, therefore I'm not sure this a original.

That's just the reverse of the PRYM Snaps...There is Nothing Fake on that canteen, friend...I assure you...Just missing a few parts...

Looks fine. It is missing the strap - a common issue. Also, I don't see a carbine clip or hardware on the back. NH
