German Periscop

Hi everybody

I have found this german scope/periscop
But i have no idea of its utility..
I think it's for a howitzer but not sure..
Have you got a value of this ? The inner parts are in very good condition, we can see pretty well inside

Mate, I can't say for sure what it is but I went to Belgium a good 10 to 15 years ago and saw several being sold as artillery gun sights. From memory the ones I saw were light grey with one or two red rings painted on them and all were in a their own wooden box.

What DRP stand for ?
What could be its value ?
